Intermediate Golf
ADVANCE YOUR GAME! Dogwood's intermediate golf school is designed for those golfers who know the basics and either have a handicap or are close to obtaining one. The schools begin with an evaluation of your current golfing ability to create a personalised work program.
All aspects of golf will be covered - from putting and chipping, to breaking down a personal swing. However our small group sizes (maximum of 4) ensure that you will receive individual attention and enables our PGA coaches to tailor-make the course structure to suit the needs of the group, therefore ensuring that you gain the most out of the experience.
Our facilities enable our coaches to deliver the highest quality of teaching. They will work closely with you on swing improvements including video analysis. Coming soon is our golf simulator in the event of bad weather, delivering highly accurate and realistic indoor golf on some of the world’s most challenging and visually stunning courses.
You will return home with your coaching manual and personal notes, development plan and practice routines. Towards the end of the intermediate school you’ll be taken onto the golf course to play a few holes and put into practice everything you’ve learnt.
Advanced Instruction
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!Lifelong learning on the range and course.
Dogwood recommends private lessons from one of our Class A PGA Golf Professionals when you get serious about your game and/or want to improve specific areas of your game. Advanced golf occurs when you are able to play golf well enough that you can complete 18 holes of play and feel comfortable that you don’t hold up golfers who play behind you. Improvement through scheduled, monitored practice and play will put into use your fundamentals and have fun with other golfers while continuing to grow your own game through instruction and supervised practice. These classes offer an opportunity to become more comfortable with all aspects of the game including putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, full swing and on-course play.
If you plan on taking a series or more of private lessons, the golf coaches Dogwood will design a step by step plan together with you so you have achievable and realistic goals from your lessons.
